Role Description The Legal Executive is a full-time, on-site role based in Ulu Tiram. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and organizing legal documents and contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and internal policies. The Legal Executive will support matters relating to property transactions and conveyancing, including coordination with external legal partners, government authorities, and other stakeholders. Daily tasks include providing basic legal advice to internal teams, maintaining accurate legal records, monitoring regulatory changes relevant to the business, and assisting in the drafting of policies and procedures. The role also involves supporting legal due diligence for projects, resolving routine legal queries, and collaborating with management to mitigate legal risks.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Law, with knowledge of commercial and corporate legal principles.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Legal Document Preparation, including drafting, reviewing, and organizing contracts and formal agreements.
  • Candidates should possess the ability to provide clear and practical Legal Advice to internal stakeholders on routine matters.
  • Candidates should possess understanding of Property Law and related regulations relevant to industrial and commercial assets.
  • Candidates should possess experience in Conveyancing, including handling documentation and coordination for property transactions.
  • Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to interpret statutes, contracts, and regulatory requirements.
  • Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
  • Relevant academic qualification in Law or a related discipline; professional certification or membership in a legal association is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on-site in Ulu Tiram, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Prior experience in an industrial, engineering, or energy-related environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
