Job Description

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Plan, supervise, and coordinate mechanical engineering works at construction project sites.
  • Monitor the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of mechanical works.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure mechanical installations comply with engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
  • Prepare work schedules, progress reports, technical documentation, and project records.
  • Identify technical issues during construction and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
  • Monitor the performance and operation of mechanical equipment and support troubleshooting activities when required.
  • Ensure materials, equipment, and resources are available to meet project requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations, permit-to-work procedures, and company policies.
  • Attend project meetings and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Perform other engineering and site-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in mechanical engineering, construction projects, or site engineering.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical systems, equipment installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and construction documents.
  • Experience in site coordination, project execution, and quality control is an advantage.
  • Good problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety requirements and construction site safety practices.
  • Able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willing to work at different project sites, weekends, public holidays, and flexible hours based on project requirements.
  • No formal educational qualification required.
