Part-Time POS Operations Intern

Location: Various merchant outlets across Singapore

Wecome Pte Ltd is looking for a responsible and tech-savvy polytechnic or university student to join us as a Part-Time POS Operations Intern.

This internship is designed to accommodate the student’s academic schedule. All assignments and working hours will be planned and confirmed in advance, taking class and examination schedules into consideration.

Job Responsibilities

Carry out pre-planned POS installation and operational support assignments

Visit merchants’ outlets to install and set up POS systems, printers, tablets and related devices

Guide merchants and their staff on how to use the POS system

Provide basic onsite troubleshooting and operational support

Check internet connections, printers, tablets and system settings

Coordinate with Wecome’s technical team when further technical support is required

Follow up with merchants after installation

Record installation details and report merchant feedback or system issues

Complete other pre-arranged operational tasks when required

Requirements

Currently studying at a polytechnic or university

Comfortable using computers, tablets and mobile applications

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Able to communicate in English; Mandarin is an advantage

Patient and confident when guiding or training merchants

Responsible, punctual and able to work independently

Willing to travel to different merchant locations across Singapore

Experience with POS systems, F&B operations or customer service is an advantage but not required

Training will be provided

Working Arrangement

Part-time student internship

Working hours and assignments will be scheduled in advance

Scheduling will take the intern’s classes, examinations and other academic commitments into consideration

Work will mainly involve onsite support at merchants’ outlets

Occasional evening or weekend assignments may be arranged in advance

Fixed allowance: S$800 per month

Transport allowance or reimbursement will be provided for onsite assignments
