Job Description

Responsibilities

Moorgen Pte Ltd is the sole authorized distributor of Moorgen (*************) German-engineered smart home systems in Singapore. From our new showroom at Apex@Henderson, we bring intelligent, beautifully designed living to luxury homes, developments, and commercial spaces.

As a new and growing company, we are expanding our team and looking for passionate individuals to join us in shaping the future of smart living. This is a unique opportunity to grow with us and make a real impact. Fresh graduates are welcome!

About the Role

Join a fast-growing team at the forefront of the smart home revolution. We are looking for a detail-oriented specialist who takes pride in high-quality workmanship. You won’t just be "installing gadgets"—you will be building the backbone of modern living, from distribution panel wiring to advanced IoT cloud integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • System Integration: Install, wire, and integrate smart home ecosystems (Lighting, HVAC, Blinds, and Sensors) using protocols like Zigbee, Modbus, DALI, and 0–10V.
  • Precision Wiring: We value "Instagram-worthy" cable management and proper labeling.
  • Technical Execution: Read and interpret system schematics and layout drawings to ensure 100% accuracy on-site.
  • Commissioning: Troubleshoot and configure smart home networks, controllers, and mobile apps (e.g., Aqara, Tuya, or proprietary systems).
  • Project Collaboration: Liaise with Interior Designers, Electricians, and Project Managers to ensure a seamless installation process.
  • Client Handover: Provide basic training and briefings to clients, ensuring they are delighted with their new smart home experience.

What We’re Looking For

  • Technical Foundation: Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or IT.
  • Hands-on Experience: Familiarity with smart home brands is a major plus.
  • Problem Solvers: Ability to work independently on-site and troubleshoot complex connectivity or electrical issues.
  • Quality First: A strong eye for detail and a commitment to safety standards and "best practice" installations.
  • Language: Proficiency in English; Mandarin is an advantage (for liaising with international hardware suppliers).

Bonus Skills

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or technical drawing software.
  • Experience with IP-based networking (LAN setup, VLANs, and Wi-Fi optimization).

What We Offer

  • Competitive Salary: Remuneration that reflects your technical expertise.
  • Innovative Projects: Work with the latest global smart home technologies and high-end residential designs.
  • Career Growth: Opportunities to move into project management or system design as the company expands.
  • Tools & Culture: A collaborative environment where your input on technical solutions is valued.
