Requirements
- Mandarin speaking ability is required.
- Previous experience in reception, front desk, or customer service is an advantage.
- Pleasant, well-groomed, and professional appearance.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly and service-oriented attitude.
- Able to multitask, handle pressure, and manage guest flow efficiently.
- Basic computer skills.
- Familiarity with booking or POS systems is an advantage.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Willing to work night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Reception
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
- Manage reservations, room allocations, and walk-in enquiries efficiently.
- Provide accurate information regarding promotions, pricing, and availability.
- Assist guests throughout their arrival and departure experience.
Reservations & Communication
- Answer phone calls and respond to WhatsApp and online enquiries promptly.
- Maintain accurate booking information and schedules.
- Handle guest requests, booking changes, and other enquiries professionally.
- Maintain up-to-date records of room occupancy and guest preferences.
Front Desk Operations
- Handle check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure accurate billing and payment collection.
- Keep the reception area clean, organised, and welcoming.
- Monitor and update promotional displays and marketing materials at the front desk.
Team Coordination
- Coordinate with service, kitchen, and housekeeping teams to ensure smooth guest flow.
- Ensure rooms are prepared and ready for arriving guests.
- Support event and group bookings, including pre-arrival arrangements and special requests.
- Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate issues to the supervisor when necessary.
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
