Full-Time Barista at specialty café in Singapore preparing espresso-based drinks and providing customer service.
Responsibilities
Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other café beverages to meet quality standards
Dial in and adjust espresso machines to maintain consistent espresso quality throughout the day
Deliver friendly and attentive customer service to enhance guest experience
Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS/cashier system efficiently
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and front-of-house areas to ensure a welcoming environment
Assist with opening and closing duties to support smooth café operations
Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies promptly to avoid shortages during service
Support general café operations as needed to contribute to team success
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Basic barista experience preferred to perform core beverage preparation tasks
Entry-level baristas with good fundamentals are welcome to apply, demonstrating willingness to learn
Availability to work weekends and public holidays when rostered
Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn in a café environment
Communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service in a small team setting
Comfortable collaborating and working effectively within a small café team
