Client info :

The client is a financial services firm that provides customized wealth management and advisory services. Their offerings include strategic insurance solutions, investment management, estate planning, and retirement strategies, all designed to meet the unique needs of their clients. The company’s mission is to guide clients towards financial stability and long-term prosperity through tailored advice and comprehensive planning.

They are looking for a Software Engineer, Backend (.NET) to join our Engineering team. In this role, you will write and maintain code, build APIs, work on bug fixes, and monitor the technical performance of our internal systems, primarily using C#, .NET (MVC & Core) and SQL Server

Position : Software Engineer (.NET)
Location: KL Midvalley City

Responsibilities:

  • Attending and contributing to meetings.
  • Learning the codebase and finding ways to improve it.
  • Writing and maintaining code.
  • Working on bug fixes.
  • Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems.
  • Responding to requests from the development team.
  • Gathering information from users about program functionality.
  • Writing reports, documentation and guides.
  • Conducting development tests

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience as a software engineer.
  • Proficiency in C#, .NET (MVC & Core), and SQL Server for backend development
  • Proficiency in HTML5, JavaScript, Razor, Blazor, React, and Next.js for frontenddevelopment
  • Experience with database systems, specifically SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices.
  • Understanding of security and authentication mechanisms.
  • Familiarity with Cron jobs.
  • Experience in building APIs.
  • Proficiency in a version control system, like Git or GitHub.
  • Experience with the code-first entity framework and cloud deployment.
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflow.
  • Good working knowledge of email systems and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Experience in fintech or financial systems is an advantage but not required

Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM 5k-6k
EPF, SOCSO, EIS
Working Days: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 8:30 am -5:30pm

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
