About the role

We are hiring a new headcount for the Assistant Finance Manager who will lead the monthly management accounting and financial closing process, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and analysis. Drive finance transformation initiatives by modernizing financial and management reporting through automation, data analytics, and business intelligence tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the monthly management accounting and financial closing process, ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports and analysis
• Drive finance transformation initiatives by modernizing financial and management reporting through automation, data analytics, and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power Query, Power BI, and Excel-based solutions)
• Supervise the Order Management and Billing team to ensure efficient processing of customer orders, accurate billing, and appropriate revenue recognition in accordance with applicable accounting standards and company policies
• Support statutory audits, tax compliance, and regulatory filings, ensuring timely submissions and adherence to all relevant legal and reporting requirements
• Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes through the development of automated financial models and insightful business analysis
• Partner with business stakeholders and management to provide financial guidance, performance insights, and recommendations that support informed decision-making and business growth
• Participate in special projects, business initiatives, and ad hoc assignments as required by management

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA, CMA)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, preferably gained in a multinational manufacturing environment
• Solid hands-on experience in management accounting, financial reporting, order management, and revenue accounting
• Prior supervisory experience of at least 3 years
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering capabilities, with the ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experienced in leveraging financial reporting and automation tools such as Power Query, Power BI, and other data analytics solutions
• Proven experience in leading and developing teams, driving process improvements, and supporting finance transformation initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and influence stakeholders at different levels of the organization
