Job Summary

Prepare and cook diverse dishes, plan menus, and lead kitchen teams to deliver high-quality culinary experiences while ensuring compliance with food safety standards and optimizing kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes following menu requirements to ensure consistent quality and taste

Plan menus and develop new recipes to enhance culinary offerings and customer satisfaction

Maintain food quality, taste, and presentation to meet company standards and elevate dining experience

Organize and maintain kitchen cleanliness to support efficient operations and uphold hygiene standards

Monitor inventory levels and order supplies timely to prevent shortages and control costs effectively

Supervise and train kitchen staff to improve skills, enhance performance, and foster a collaborative team environment

Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations, including NEA standards, to guarantee safe food handling

Manage food costs and minimize wastage to optimize kitchen profitability and resource utilization

Adapt to working in a fast-paced environment to meet service demands efficiently and maintain service quality

Lead and manage kitchen teams to foster collaboration, productivity, and a positive work culture

Work shifts, including weekends and public holidays, to support operational needs and maintain service continuity

Preferred competencies and qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook demonstrating culinary skills and kitchen management

Knowledge of different cooking techniques and cuisines to diversify menu options

Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards to maintain compliance
