Assistant Technical Supervisor

Salary: $2,000 – $3,000 per month

Working Location: 7 Gul Circle, Singapore

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:30PM; alternate Saturdays, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Perform facilities maintenance for cranes, machinery and related equipment.
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and efficiently.
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls, feedback and equipment-related issues.
• Liaise with contractors and the in-house team to attend to equipment breakdowns and maintenance matters.
• Guide and supervise new technicians on work procedures and SOPs.
• Assist with manpower and resource deployment across the facilities under your charge.
• Provide technical support and standby assistance for emergency maintenance situations.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse and surrounding work areas.
• Ensure warehouse equipment and facilities are maintained in good working condition.
• Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the immediate supervisor or Head of Department.
• Travel overseas for work assignments when required.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge and experience in repair or maintenance work.
• Comfortable working at height while adhering to PPE and workplace safety requirements.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with technicians, contractors and internal teams.
• Candidates with relevant technical, maintenance or facilities experience are encouraged to apply.

Working Environment

This role involves hands-on maintenance work, including working at height and responding to equipment breakdowns. Candidates should be comfortable working in a warehouse/facilities environment and complying with all safety requirements.
