Role Description for Marketing Intern

We are looking for a fun, motivated, and creative team player to join our marketing team in Malaysia. As a full time Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience across social media, content creation, e-commerce, events, and brand marketing. Reporting to the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will support day-to-day marketing activities while learning how a growing fashion and lifestyle brand builds meaningful connections with its community.

Responsibilities include:

a/ Digital Marketing & E-Commerce Support

• Campaign Execution: Assist in the development and execution of the brand's marketing activities across all channels in Malaysia.
• Copywriting: Help write engaging product copy and social media captions in accordance with the brand voice.
• Website Maintenance: Assist in updating and enhancing the eCommerce website with relevant content to prepare for new collection launches.
• Content Planning: Support the planning, tracking, and management of content calendars and creative assets.
• Market Research: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to propose fresh ideas for digital and offline initiatives.

b/ Newsletters

• Email Marketing: Help prepare, format, and schedule newsletter campaigns in line with product launches and promotional periods.
• Reporting: Assist in gathering metrics for email and website performance to compile into weekly round-ups.

c/ Social Media & Content Creation

• Social Media Management: Assist in scheduling and managing daily social media postings.
• TikTok & Trend Hunting: Focus on expanding our presence on TikTok by brainstorming content ideas, tracking platform trends, and helping create short-form video content.
• Asset Creation: Work alongside the creative team to ensure a strong and consistent visual brand voice across all social channels.

d/ PR, Influencers & Brand Events

• Influencer Relations: Support local influencer partnerships by coordinating product seedings, tracking coverage, and maintaining relations.
• Community & Event Management: Assist the team during PR events, store activations, and seasonal campaigns, including vendor coordination and operational support.
• Team Support: Assist the marketing team with daily administrative tasks and local photoshoots as required.

Skills & Requirements:

Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Business Marketing, Creative Media, or related fields.

Software/Tech: Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides). Basic proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) or Canva is highly preferred.

Social Media Savvy: Active on TikTok and Instagram with a good grasp of current visual trends, memes, and audio formats in Malaysia.

Design Sense: A keen eye for aesthetic judgment, photography, and graphic layout.

Soft Skills: Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines; a proactive, collaborative personality who isn't afraid to share creative ideas.

Work Location: In person at Residensi Lavile, Lorong Peel 55100, Kuala Lumpur

Working Hours: 5 days a week, 10am to 7pm
