Quality Inspector
Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Quality Inspector to ensure that products and production processes meet the required quality standards, specifications, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inspections on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished products.
- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections according to established procedures and specifications.
- Identify, record, and report defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
- Ensure products meet the required quality standards before being released for the next process or shipment.
- Use measuring instruments and inspection equipment to verify product specifications.
- Check product dimensions, appearance, workmanship, and other quality characteristics.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, checklists, and relevant documentation.
- Segregate and properly identify defective or non-conforming products.
- Communicate quality issues to the Production, Engineering, or Quality team for further action.
- Assist in investigating the root cause of quality problems and implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and report recurring quality issues or trends.
- Ensure inspection equipment and measuring tools are properly handled and maintained.
- Follow company quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements.
- Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification.
- Certificate/Diploma in Quality Control, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field is an advantage.
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector or in a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Knowledge of basic quality inspection and control procedures.
- Familiar with measuring instruments such as vernier caliper, micrometer, height gauge, or other inspection tools.
- Able to read and understand basic technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Willing to work in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.

Working Environment
- Full-time position.
- On-site / In Person.
- Work is primarily carried out in a manufacturing or production environment.
- May require standing for extended periods and working according to production schedules.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
