Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Business Development Executive (HoReCa Industry), based in Petaling Jaya with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within hotels, restaurants, cafés, and related sectors, including prospecting, lead generation, and follow-up. The Business Development Executive will manage and grow key accounts, maintain regular contact with clients, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities include preparing proposals, conducting sales presentations, negotiating terms, and tracking performance against targets. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams, market research to understand customer needs, and accurate reporting of sales activities and pipeline status.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong New Business Development and Lead Generation skills to identify and convert opportunities in the HoReCa sector.
- Candidates should possess solid Business and Account Management skills to manage pipelines, handle contracts, and grow existing client relationships.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities with diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should ideally have experience in the HoReCa or hospitality supply industry, with a good understanding of foodservice operations and customer needs.
- Candidates should have demonstrated ability to work independently, meet sales targets, use CRM tools, and analyze basic sales and market data.
- A relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience in sales or business development will be considered.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites within the region as needed.
