Duties And Responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee full set of accounts including Cash & Bank, GL, Intercompany, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, accruals and provision
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory requirements, tax regulations and audit requirement.
- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and manage AP and AR balances to support effective working capital.
- Prepare accounts reconciliations and proper documentation of balance sheet schedules.
- Support tax compliance matters, including tax filings and GST & SST matters where required.
- Utilization of banking and trade facilities to support the regional operational and funding requirements.
- Support Finance manager to improve budgeting, cost efficiency, and profitability.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, company secretaries, and relevant authorities.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and strengthen financial controls.
- Undertake ad-hoc assignments and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Professional accounting certification (ACCA, CPA or equivalent) would be advantageous.
- Minimum 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Experience with ERP accounting systems (SAP preferred) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI etc.
- Good understanding of accounting standards, taxation, and local banking instruments.
- Strong interpersonal, and communication skills, and possess good business acumen with the ability to understand operational and financial impacts on the business.
