HR Executive
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented HR Executive to support the full spectrum of human resources functions for our growing F&B restaurant chain. The successful candidate will work closely with outlet managers and management to support recruitment, employee administration, payroll, work pass matters and day-to-day HR operations across multiple outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle the full spectrum of HR administrative functions for employees across multiple restaurant outlets.
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, job offers and onboarding.
- Work closely with outlet managers to fulfil manpower requirements and support recruitment for both local and foreign employees.
- Prepare employment contracts, confirmation letters, salary adjustment letters, warning letters, resignation acceptance letters and other HR-related correspondence.
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files and HR system information.
- Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation and exit clearance.
- Process monthly payroll and ensure accurate computation of salaries, overtime, allowances, incentives, deductions and other payroll components.
- Handle CPF, SDL, FWL and other statutory contributions and submissions where applicable.
- Administer employee attendance, working hours, overtime, leave and medical leave records.
- Assist with employee benefits, insurance and claims administration.
- Handle work pass applications, renewals, cancellations and related matters for foreign employees, including Work Permits and S Passes.
- Monitor work pass expiry dates, passport validity, medical examinations and other employment-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with the Employment Act, MOM requirements and internal HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee relations matters, including staff grievances, disciplinary matters and performance-related issues.
- Coordinate staff transfers and deployment between outlets where required.
- Support employee engagement, training and staff welfare activities.
- Assist management in implementing and updating HR policies, procedures and employee handbook.
- Prepare HR reports, manpower reports, payroll summaries and other information required by management.
- Liaise with government agencies, insurers, recruitment agencies and other external service providers on HR-related matters.
- Support ad hoc HR projects and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of relevant HR experience; experience in the F&B, retail, hospitality or multi-outlet environment will be an advantage.
- Good knowledge of Singapore employment practices and MOM requirements.
- Experience in payroll processing and foreign worker/work pass administration is preferred.
- Familiar with CPF, SDL, FWL and other statutory requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Able to handle confidential employee information professionally.
- Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable communicating and coordinating with employees and managers across different restaurant outlets.
Preferred Experience
Candidates with experience in the following areas will have an added advantage:
- Recruitment of restaurant crew, kitchen staff, supervisors and outlet managers.
- Work Permit and S Pass applications and administration.
- Foreign worker quota and levy monitoring.
- Payroll involving overtime, allowances, incentives and shift-based employees.
- Attendance and rostering systems.
- HR operations for multiple restaurant outlets.
- Employee relations and disciplinary matters in an operational environment.
