JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Design Manager to lead and shape the UI/UX direction across our mobile applications and digital products.

This role will be responsible for establishing a consistent, user-focused design direction while ensuring that design solutions support business objectives, product strategy and technical requirements.

The successful candidate will lead, mentor and develop the UI/UX design team while remaining actively involved in hands-on design work. This is a leadership role that requires a balance of design strategy, people management, stakeholder management and individual design contribution.

The UI/UX Design Manager will play a key role in shaping complex digital experiences, maintaining design quality and standards and driving continuous improvement across our digital products.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead and provide overall direction for the UI/UX design function across mobile applications and digital products.

2. Develop and implement UI/UX design strategies and standards aligned with business and product objectives.

3. Lead, mentor and support UI/UX designers, providing guidance, feedback and support for their professional growth.

4. Oversee UI/UX projects, priorities, resources, timelines and deliverables to ensure effective and timely delivery.

5. Review, refine and where appropriate, directly contribute to key design solutions to ensure quality, consistency, usability and alignment with design standards.

6. Work closely with senior stakeholders, Product, Development, Business, Marketing and other teams to align UI/UX direction with business and product objectives.

7. Drive user research, usability testing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall user experience.

JOB REQUIREMENT (SKILLS)

1. Strong UI/UX design skills with a focus on mobile applications and digital products.

2. Strong knowledge of UX strategy, interaction design, visual design, usability and design systems.

3. Proficient in Figma and other relevant design tools, with strong experience designing for iOS and Android platforms.

4. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.

5. Ability to balance user needs, business objectives and technical requirements when making design decisions.

6. Strong project prioritisation and team management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.

7. Strong hands-on UI/UX design capability while leading and managing the design team.

QUALIFICATION

1. Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in UI/UX Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, Interaction Design or a related field.

2. Strong portfolio demonstrating UI/UX, mobile and digital product design experience.

3. 5–8+ years of UI/UX design experience, with strong hands-on experience in mobile applications and digital products.

4. Proven experience leading, mentoring or managing UI/UX designers while remaining hands-on in design.

5. Strong experience in iOS and Android, Figma, design systems and digital product design.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
