Your impact
The Telecom Revit Modeleris an experienced BIM professional responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining Telecom BIM models for data center and mission-critical projects. The role supports the engineering team by producing accurate and coordinated models and drawings while working under the guidance of senior modelers and engineers. The position requires solid technical knowledge of Telecom systems, BIM standards, and multidisciplinary coordination processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Telecom/ ELV Revit models in accordance with project requirements, design intent, and BIM standards.
- Ensure models comply with project-specific Level of Development (LOD), Level of Information (LOI), BIM Execution Plan (BEP), and client requirements.
- Create and update Telecom / ELV layouts, containment systems, equipment placements, and associated model elements.
- Incorporate required parameters, system information, and schedules to support design, coordination, and construction activities.
- Prepare model-based drawings, schedules, and deliverables for internal reviews and project submissions.
- Support construction-stage modelling activities and update models based on engineering instructions and project requirements. Provide day-to-day guidance and informal checking of work produced by junior modellers.
- Coordinate Telecom / ELV model elements with Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical disciplines.
- Identify and resolve straightforward clashes and modelling issues, escalating complex coordination matters to senior modelers or engineers.
- Perform model quality checks to ensure compliance with BIM standards, naming conventions, and project requirements.
- Update models in response to design changes, engineering comment coordination outcomes, and client feedback.
- Participate in coordination meetings and assist in resolving multidisciplinary model conflicts.
Here's what you'll need
- With a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering/electrical Engineering/Electronics & Communications Engineering/Information & Communications Technology (ICT) Or a related BIM, CAD, or drafting discipline.
- Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in BIM modelling and design support.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD
Desired experience & skills:
- Experience working on data centers, mission-critical, commercial, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with local and international telecommunications, ICT, and BIM standards.
- Experience using BIM coordination tools and Common Data Environments (CDEs), such as:
- Navisworks
- Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC)
- BIM 360
