About Our Client:

Our clients, well-established multinational healthcare and retail group, based in Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. This is a hands-on role managing full set of accounts, management reporting and working as the right-hand person to the Finance Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

You'll take ownership of day-to-day finance operations. Core responsibilities include:

• Prepare a full set of accounts and delivering accurate financial and management reports.
• Assisting with the preparation of forecasts and annual budgets across an extensive planning cycle.
• Responsible for in depth finance analysis as required by the management.
• Supporting month-end closing processes within tight reporting deadlines.
• Partnering with internal stakeholders across multiple business units and entities.
• Perform any ad-hoc reports, analysis or projects as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Possess Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or professionally qualified accountant ie. ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of financial reporting experience, ideally with mixture of experience in reporting and external audit.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight reporting deadlines.
