Hiring: Graphic Designer Intern

Hey you — yes, you, scrolling through jobs again.

If you’re into digital ads, love turning ideas into visuals, and don’t mind working fast (but smart), we want to talk.

We’re FreakOut Malaysia, and we run ad campaigns across mobile, video, rich media, OTT, and social — the kind of stuff you actually see online.

We’re looking for a Graphic Designer Intern to help us create, design, and bring campaigns to life — from concept to pixel-perfect execution — and make sure nothing looks boring (unless it’s meant to Zzz).

Your Mission as a Graphic Designer Intern @ FreakOut Malaysia

Are you ready to bring your creativity to life in the fast-paced world of digital campaigns? Here’s what you’ll be diving into:

Idea Alchemist

– Bring concepts, sketches, and designs to life, adding that magic touch to every visual.

Quality Champion

– Deliver polished, client-approved work that meets design guidelines and makes sure every pixel is where it should be.

Engagement Wizard

– Help create custom visuals that perform, grab attention, and spark clicks, likes, and shares.

Brand Explorer

– Dive deep into our brands, marketing strategies, and products — both current and upcoming — to design with purpose.

If pixels, colours, motion, and scroll-stopping visuals get your heart racing, this is the playground for your creativity.

You Might Be A Fit If:

– You’re a Graphic Design student looking to build real-world design experience

– Available for an internship of at least 3 months

– You’re detail-obsessed, organized, and can handle pressure

– You’re not afraid to ask questions, share ideas, and speak up

– You like working with people, but you’re also cool doing your own thing

– You’re curious, willing to learn, and excited about digital advertising and creative work

️ Skills & Software

Must Have

– Adobe Illustrator — confident creating and editing vector graphics, layouts, and campaign assets

– Adobe Photoshop — comfortable with image editing, compositing, retouching, and digital creative production

– Adobe After Effects — basic to intermediate knowledge of motion graphics and animation

Nice to Have

– A portfolio or examples of your creative work will definitely help

What’s In It For You:

– Real responsibility, real campaigns — no “just sit and learn” nonsense

– Exposure to regional brands, agencies, and media platforms

– Hands-on experience creating digital advertising creatives

– A chill team, fast pace, and no micromanagement

– A chance to see your work actually go live

If you’re someone who sees a blank canvas and immediately starts thinking, “Okay, what can we make out of this?” — we’d like to meet you.
