About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Executive to develop and grow our business in feed ingredients, nutritional products, and feed additives with a focus on Dairy nutrition.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new customers, developing relationships with dairy farms, feed mills, premix manufacturers, distributors, nutritionists, and other industry stakeholders, and converting opportunities into sustainable sales.
This is a technical B2B sales role requiring a strong understanding of dairy nutrition and the ability to communicate the commercial and nutritional value of products to customers.
The role will involve both new business development and management of existing accounts, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships and expanding product penetration.
Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development
- Develop and execute sales plans for feed ingredients and additives within the assigned markets.
- Identify and develop new customers across:
- Dairy farms and farm groups
- Feed mills
- Premix and concentrate manufacturers
- Feed distributors and dealers
- Nutritionists, consultants, and integrators
- Generate leads, conduct customer visits, present products, negotiate commercial terms, and close sales.
- Develop and maintain a healthy sales pipeline and regularly report sales opportunities and forecasts.
- Achieve agreed sales volume, revenue, margin, and customer acquisition targets.
2. Technical & Consultative Selling
- Understand customers' nutritional requirements and identify suitable product solutions.
- Present the nutritional, technical, and economic benefits of feed ingredients and additives.
- Work with customers and nutritionists to evaluate product applications and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Support product trials, feeding trials, and customer evaluations where required.
- Translate technical product specifications into clear commercial benefits for customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of dairy production, including milk yield, milk components, feed efficiency, rumen health, body condition, and overall animal performance.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers and decision-makers.
- Regularly visit customers to understand their requirements, purchasing plans, formulation changes, and business challenges.
- Develop key accounts and identify opportunities for cross-selling and increasing product volumes.
- Act as the primary commercial contact between customers and the company.
- Resolve customer issues in coordination with technical, logistics, quality, and management teams.
4. Market Intelligence
- Monitor dairy feed ingredient and additive markets, including pricing, supply, demand, and competitor activity.
- Identify emerging products, technologies, and nutritional trends within the dairy sector.
- Gather market intelligence on competitors, customer purchasing behavior, and potential new applications.
- Provide regular feedback to management on market developments and opportunities.
5. Commercial Management
- Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and customer presentations.
- Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within approved company guidelines.
- Monitor customer credit limits, payment performance, and outstanding receivables.
- Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and customer records.
6. Product Development & Portfolio Expansion
- Identify market gaps and opportunities for new dairy nutrition products.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to evaluate new ingredients and additives.
- Support the introduction and commercialization of new products.
- Develop application-based sales opportunities rather than relying solely on commodity trading.

Candidate ProfileEducation
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animal Nutrition, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Feed Technology, Food Science, or a related field preferred.
- Candidates with strong relevant commercial experience in feed ingredients or additives may also be considered.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within:
- Animal feed
- Dairy nutrition
- Feed ingredients
- Feed additives
- Premixes
- Agricultural commodities
- Animal health or nutrition
- Experience selling to feed mills, dairy farms, distributors, or nutritionists is highly advantageous.
- Fresh graduates with strong technical knowledge and commercial aptitude may be considered for a junior position.

A strong candidate should have the ambition to grow into a Sales Manager / Business Development Manager role as the business expands.
