Role Description This is a full-time Wealth Manager role based in Petaling Jaya, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows for some work-from-home flexibility. The Wealth Manager will provide holistic financial advisory services, including assessing clients’ financial situations, clarifying their goals, and developing tailored financial and investment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients, reviewing portfolios, recommending investment and insurance solutions, and monitoring performance against objectives. The role involves preparing financial reports, staying current with market trends and regulatory changes, and ensuring compliance with internal and external guidelines. The Wealth Manager will collaborate with colleagues to refine service offerings and contribute to client acquisition and retention initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong financial planning skills, including experience in developing comprehensive, goal-based financial plans.
  • Candidates should possess investment management and investments skills to construct, monitor, and adjust diversified portfolios.
  • Candidates should possess solid finance knowledge to analyze financial data, interpret market information, and support sound advisory decisions.
  • Candidates should possess insurance-related skills to recommend appropriate protection and risk management solutions as part of overall planning.
  • Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFP, CFA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
  • Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and proficiency with financial planning tools and Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly and build long-term client relationships.
  • High level of integrity, commitment to regulatory compliance, and a client-centric mindset.
