About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to oversee the full range of human resources activities within the organisation.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR operations, supporting management and employees across the business, and ensuring that HR policies, processes, and practices effectively support the organisation's objectives.

Experience within the engineering, energy, construction, or other technical/project-based environment would be highly advantageous.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall day-to-day HR function and provide professional HR support to management and employees.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective HR policies, procedures, and processes.
  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, development, and offboarding.
  • Support workforce planning and recruitment activities to meet business requirements.
  • Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, employment matters, and workplace issues.
  • Manage HR administration, employee records, payroll coordination, compensation, and benefits.
  • Support performance management, training, learning, and employee development initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations and assist with the resolution of workplace matters and grievances.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable employment legislation and company policies.
  • Prepare HR reports and provide relevant information and insights to management.
  • Support employee engagement and organisational development initiatives.
  • Liaise with external HR service providers and relevant authorities where required.
  • Identify and implement improvements to HR processes and practices.
  • Provide support on other HR-related matters and initiatives as required.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant HR experience, with broad exposure across the HR function.
  • Experience within oil & gas, engineering, energy, construction, manufacturing, or a similar technical environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of general HR practices, policies, and employment legislation.
  • Practical experience across recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, HR administration, and employee development.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional approach with a high level of integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and HR systems.
