Role Description The Fleet Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Kulim. This role is responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, including vehicle scheduling, route planning, and monitoring driver assignments to ensure timely and safe deliveries and passenger transport. The Fleet Coordinator tracks vehicle usage, maintenance schedules, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements, and updates fleet records and reports accurately. The role involves coordinating with drivers, operations staff, and customers to resolve issues, manage delays, and maintain high service standards. The Fleet Coordinator also supports continuous improvement initiatives by identifying operational inefficiencies and proposing practical solutions.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess skills in Fleet Operations and Fleet Management to coordinate vehicle usage, routing, and maintenance effectively.
• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with drivers, colleagues, and customers.
• Candidates should possess Operations Management skills to support planning, scheduling, and performance tracking across the fleet.
• Candidates should have good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
• Candidates should be proficient with basic computer applications and fleet-related systems or software.
• Candidates should have a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance in transportation operations.
• Candidates should ideally have prior experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet coordination.
• Candidates should hold at least a secondary school qualification; a diploma or degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field is an advantage.
