Function
Assists the Front Office Manager in directing and supervising the activities of the Front Office, and act as a liaison between guests and the Hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist the Front Office Manager in overseeing the overall daily operations of the hotel and ensuring smooth coordination between all departments.
- Supervise day-to-day hotel operations to ensure that company policies, service standards, and operational procedures are consistently followed.
- Act as the Manager on Duty and take overall responsibility for hotel operations during the assigned shift.
- Maintain positive relationships with guests and employees by providing professional, courteous, and prompt service . Handle guest complaints, requests, and operational issues effectively, ensuring appropriate follow-up and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor room occupancy, room availability, arrivals, departures, VIP guests, group movements, and other operational matters to ensure smooth Front Office operations.
- Maximize room sales and hotel revenue by promoting room upgrades, additional services, and other available hotel facilities.
- Monitor and ensure that the lobby, front entrance, public areas, and other external areas within the hotel premises are clean, safe, orderly, and presentable.
- Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities and report any maintenance, safety, cleanliness, or security concerns to the relevant department for immediate action.
- Coordinate closely with Housekeeping, Engineering, Security, Food & Beverage, Sales, and other departments to resolve operational issues and ensure seamless guest service.
- Effectively take immediate action and assume control during emergencies such as fire, power failure, accidents, medical incidents, security incidents, or other unforeseen situations, in accordance with hotel emergency procedures.
- Ensure proper handover of important operational matters between shifts and maintain clear communication with the Front Office Manager and other relevant departments.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and on-the-job training to Front Office staff to improve their knowledge, skills, service delivery, and professionalism.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding guest accounts, billing discrepancies, deposits, refunds, and other Front Office financial matters when required.
- Ensure all incidents, complaints, unusual occurrences, and operational issues are properly recorded and reported to Management.
- Prepare and submit night, daily, weekly, month-end, and other operational reports as requested by Management.
- Attend internal and external training to improve work knowledge, leadership skills, self-confidence, and professionalism.
- Attend all training programs provided or assigned by the company.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety requirements, security procedures, and applicable statutory regulations.
- Support the Front Office Manager in achieving departmental targets, guest satisfaction objectives, and overall hotel performance.
- Represent Management professionally when dealing with guests, employees, suppliers, contractors, and external parties during the assigned shift.
- Carry out any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Experience:
- Hospitality: 3 years (Preferred)
