• Job Purpose*

To carry out plumbing inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair and servicing works for the plumbing and sanitary systems at THKMC premises.

The Licensed Plumber shall ensure that all plumbing systems and related equipment are maintained in a safe, reliable and operational condition.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspection and preventive maintenance of plumbing and sanitary systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing defects, leakages, blockages and breakdowns.
• Repair and replace pipes, sanitary fittings, valves, taps, pumps and related components.
• Carry out testing and checks after repair, replacement or installation works.
• Support planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and emergency plumbing works.
• Coordinate with contractors/vendors where required.
• Maintain maintenance records and report plumbing defects and system conditions.
• Ensure plumbing works comply with relevant regulations, safety requirements and site procedures.
• Maintain good housekeeping and proper use of tools and PPE.
• Perform other plumbing and maintenance duties assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Possess a valid Licensed Plumber (LP) licence/qualification recognised by the relevant Singapore authority, where applicable.
• Relevant experience in plumbing, sanitary installation or facilities maintenance.
• Knowledge of water supply, drainage, sanitary and plumbing systems.
• Able to troubleshoot plumbing faults and carry out repairs.
• Able to understand basic plumbing drawings and layouts.
• Familiar with workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
