Key Responsibilities

• We advocate round trip planning for our vessels across regions
• Maintaining high standards of safety for cargo stowage – no compromise in the safety of our vessels, crew, and cargo
• Optimization of vessels to ensure safe and maximum vessel utilization with minimum operational costs
• Goals for the team include focusing on Trim Optimization, Shiftings, Crane Split, efficient Stowage Planning and Performing Master Plan
• Accountable for planning related matters on vessels under individual responsibility
• Follow up with terminals and vessel command and executing our stowage plans to ensure smooth operations
• Close communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders; adopt a proactive approach in discussing stowage matters with our stakeholders
• Evaluating the suitability of deployment and intake of vessels based on vessel characteristics and trade requirements
• Taking care of administrative matters such as accurate system updates, record keeping, etc.
• Establishes and continuously review Global Planning SOPs

Requirements

• Proactive individual with strong sense of urgency and responsibility
• Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic environment with an open mindset and growth mindset
• Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail for complex scenarios
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree or above
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1-3 years non-related working experience are welcome
• Stowage Planning experience is an added advantage
• Technical knowledge of stowage planning tools is an added advantage
• Good command of written and spoken English
