As a Senior Analyst Actuarial, you have at least 3 years of relevant work experience in general insurance with currently active pursuing Actuarial professional qualification. Your responsibilities will focus on the following:

Reserving

• Prepare and check the data used for Actuarial analyses
• Perform reconciliation check with Finance and Claims
• Assist in updating the models used for analysis, for example reserves, risk margin, expense load, large losses
• Assist in updating the actuarial report and presentation deck
• Improve the data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) process
• Study the new Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards 17 Insurance Contracts

Capital Management

• Assist in inputting the data into the capital models
• Assist in liaising and consolidating inputs from Investment, Claims and Finance departments

Asset-Liability Management

• Assist in updating the insurance liability profile
• Assist in updating the investment assets profile
• Update the relevant reports, presentation deck and other materials

Catastrophe Modelling

• Obtain underwriting exposure information and input them into the template provided
• Run the model and extract the outputs into the catastrophe aggregates report
