Responsibilities
[Expected Job Scope]
Provide IT operation support mainly for ETRM (Energy Trading and Risk Management) system, as well as other business applications.
Respond to and manage incidents, service requests, and system issues reported by users, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
Collaborate with business users, ETRM vendors, Azure infrastructure engineers and other stakeholders to ensure the operation of supported systems.
Work closely with internal IT teams and external partners to support projects, system enhancements, and operational initiatives.
Assist in investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving application, system, and data-related issues.
Prepare and maintain periodic and ad-hoc reports, including monthly service reports, security log reviews, incident reports, and operational documentation.
Participate in IT audits and support audit-related activities, including evidence collection and compliance reviews.
Perform Azure SQL Database administration, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Coordinate with management, end users, and IT vendors to investigate and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance system performance, reliability, and operational processes.
Support project team by coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT) with users and report on issues identified during UAT.
Maintain and update support documentation, knowledge articles, and operational procedures as required.
[Necessary IT Skill and Experience]
Diploma or Master/Bachelor’s degree from an accredited polytechnic, university or college in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
Knowledge of Microsoft Azure and SQL databases is preferred.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, and Power Automate will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Willingness to learn new technologies and business processes.
No experience is required.
