Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to lead and oversee marine and civil engineering projects, including dredging, port construction, breakwaters, reclamation, and coastal structures. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge, exceptional leadership, and a track record of delivering high-value projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all phases of civil/marine/dredging projects from pre-construction through completion.
• Coordinate with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Monitor on-site progress, quality control, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Manage client relations and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to ensure performance, morale, and accountability.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Marine Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in marine/civil/dredging construction projects.
• Mandarin-speaking candidate preferred, as Mandarin proficiency is required to meet the job requirements.
• Proven track record managing port, jetty, dredging, reclamation, or offshore projects.
• Strong knowledge of relevant construction techniques, equipment, and methodologies.
• Familiarity with international standards (e.g., FIDIC, ISO, HSE).
• Proficient in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project, etc.).
• PMP certification (preferred but not mandatory).
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
