Job Summary

Responsible for managing the company’s accounting and financial reporting activities while ensuring accurate and timely financial information. The role will also support AGM matters, Bursa Malaysia reporting and other corporate compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliation, and month-end closing.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and management accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and audit schedules.
• Ensure accounting records are accurate, complete, and maintained in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
• Assist in preparing and coordinating AGM-related documents, reports, and supporting materials.
• Support the preparation and submission of Bursa Malaysia announcements and regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate with auditors, company secretary, tax agents, and other external parties.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant accounting, tax, and statutory requirements.
• Provide financial information and analysis to management to support business decisions.
• Support finance-related projects and other duties assigned by management.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a listed company or corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience in handling AGM matters and Bursa Malaysia reporting/announcements is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Good command of English and Mandarin to communicate effectively with Mandarin-speaking management and stakeholders.
• Good analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
• Responsible, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM5,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
