Assist in the implementation of Environment Management, Occupational Health & Safety requirements at the site;

Assist the HOD in ensuring all approved policies, procedures and procedures are disseminated in a proper and timely manner within the department and where applicable, throughout the department/company;

Adhere to the environment, safety and health’s rules and procedures, as well as relevant policies and work instructions to ensure compliance with the Company’s HSE, Quality, and environmental requirements;

Raise environment, health and safety issues to Head of Department where appropriate;

Develop, implement and maintain an effective program and ensure compliance of local legislation;

Responsible to identify unsafe acts, conditions, and hazards, investigate root causes and report to management;

Perform periodical inspection at the site to identify potential hazards to the health and safety of staff and users including environmental aspects;

Assist in evacuation and emergency drills and conduct investigations of accidents at the site;

Co-ordinate with all local enforcer- e.g. DOSH, DOE, MHA, Police, Bomba, Ambulance, DBKL, JPJ, etc. on the Safety and Environment matters;

Ensure Traffic Management Plan (TMP) implemented on the highway are according to standard guideline;

Attend to emergency call – 24 hours;
