Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Communications, Content & Brand Management
- Develop and execute engaging marketing communications across social media, website, email, digital platforms, and offline channels.
- Manage the hotel’s social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
- Create compelling content including captions, graphics, photography, short-form videos, promotional materials, and campaign assets.
- Develop and maintain content calendars to ensure consistent and timely communication.
- Coordinate the development of marketing collaterals including flyers, posters, e-banners, brochures, advertisements, signage, and promotional materials.
- Ensure all communications consistently follow the hotel’s brand identity, visual standards, tone of voice, and positioning.
- Monitor digital trends, competitor activities, and consumer behaviour to identify opportunities for stronger brand engagement.
- Track content and social media performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
2. Digital Marketing, Website & OTA Review
- Manage and regularly update hotel website content, including promotions, packages, events, announcements, dining offers, visuals, and other relevant information.
- Ensure website content is accurate, engaging, current, and aligned with the hotel’s brand and marketing objectives.
- Assist in managing OTA platforms such as Agoda, *************, Expedia, *************, and other relevant online channels.
- Ensure hotel information, promotional content, descriptions, visuals, and offerings are accurate and consistent across digital platforms.
- Monitor guest reviews across Google, OTAs, TripAdvisor, social media, and other relevant platforms.
- Coordinate timely and professional responses to guest reviews and feedback.
- Analyze guest sentiment and recurring feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement and reputation management.
- Monitor website and online platform performance and prepare relevant reports.
3. Campaigns, Promotions, PR & Partnerships
- Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns, promotional activities, festive campaigns, hotel packages, and special events.
- Coordinate with Sales, Revenue, Food & Beverage, Rooms, Operations, and other departments to ensure effective campaign execution.
- Develop campaign communication materials, timelines, content, and supporting assets.
- Support public relations activities including press releases, media communications, hotel announcements, and publicity initiatives.
- Coordinate media visits, journalist engagements, photo shoots, influencer stays, and strategic collaborations.
- Identify and coordinate partnerships with relevant influencers, KOLs, content creators, media, and lifestyle partners.
- Monitor campaign, PR, and partnership performance through relevant engagement and commercial metrics.
- Prepare post-campaign reports and recommendations to improve future marketing initiatives.
4. Email Marketing & Guest Engagement
- Assist in developing and executing email marketing campaigns, newsletters, promotional emails, and guest communications.
- Create engaging subject lines, content, visuals, and calls-to-action that support engagement and conversion.
- Maintain and update marketing databases and email lists.
- Segment databases based on guest profiles, interests, preferences, and campaign objectives.
- Monitor email campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, engagement, and conversions where measurable.
- Develop communications that support guest retention, repeat visits, direct engagement, and brand loyalty.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure guest-facing communications are accurate and aligned with current promotions and offerings.
- Use guest insights and campaign data to improve future communications and marketing activities.
5. Events, Activations, Administration & Performance Reporting
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing on-site marketing activations, festive events, launches, promotional activities, and guest engagement initiatives.
- Liaise with internal departments, vendors, agencies, suppliers, and external partners to ensure smooth event execution.
- Ensure event branding, messaging, collateral, signage, and guest communications are aligned with the hotel’s marketing objectives.
- Provide on-ground marketing support during events and activations.
- Maintain marketing files, databases, campaign records, media contacts, influencer information, and digital assets.
- Assist in tracking marketing expenses, invoices, quotations, purchase orders, and campaign budgets.
- Prepare monthly marketing reports, campaign performance reports, social media reports, and management updates.
- Monitor key marketing KPIs and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Ensure all marketing activities are delivered accurately, professionally, and within agreed timelines.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma/Degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic knowledge of social media platforms and digital content creation.
- Basic design skills using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools are an advantage.
- Basic photography, videography, or video editing skills are an advantage.
- Good organizational and coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and creativity.
- Willing to learn and take on new responsibilities.
- Proactive, responsible, and results-oriented.
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment.
- Willing to support events and marketing activities outside regular working hours when required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,600.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
