Job Summary
The Production Engineer is responsible for supporting and improving production processes to ensure efficient operations, consistent product quality, cost control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and improve production processes, productivity, and efficiency.
- Identify and resolve production, process, and equipment-related issues.
- Analyse production data and recommend improvements to reduce waste, downtime, and operating costs.
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure production activities comply with quality, safety, and company requirements.
- Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
- Prepare and maintain production reports, work instructions, and process documentation.
- Assist in new product, process, equipment, and production line improvement projects.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel when required.
- Monitor the achievement of production targets and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
Job Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Chemical, or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of production processes, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement is an advantage.
- Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively with different departments.
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
