About the role

A public body is seeking a suitable candidate to join their elite team in order to enhance the operation efficiency of the company.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Manager/Assistant Manager in requirements assessment, solution design, development, implementation, quality assurance, and production commissioning.

• Support the Project Manager to ensure timely, high-quality, and within-budget implementation of Logistics Systems.

• Liaise and coordinate with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders, contractors, and suppliers on planning, project management, and support functions.

• Provide technical collaboration and consultation to internal users on Services systems.

• Develop user requirement specifications, functional designs, and technical specifications for contractors based on business requirements.

• Develop project implementation plans and work breakdown structures; manage data, reports, and related information to support project administration and contract compliance.

• Perform project support and administration to help meet agreed project objectives, service delivery standards, timelines, stakeholder expectations, and user requirements.

• Supervise contractors in the execution of FAT, SAT, and UAT.

• Monitor the performance of assigned application systems to identify enhancement opportunities and resolve outstanding system issues through fixes or upgrades.

• Ensure smooth transition of system operations by providing instructions and expert advice to first-level support staff.

Requirements

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.

• Proven experience in application development and support of large-scale, mission-critical systems.

• Proficiency in Windows, UNIX, and major DBMS platforms (e.g., Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server), as well as related development tools such as C#, Java, and/or Python.

• ITIL certification preferred.

• Working experience in the aviation industry preferred.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills across all organizational levels.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
