Job Description:

• Understudy the Lift Electronics Manager and gain hands-on knowledge in lift electronics repair and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair faults in lift electronic systems, including control boards, wiring and communication modules.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on lift electrical and electronic components.
• Interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical manuals to identify and troubleshoot issues.
• Test and calibrate sensors, relays, drives and safety devices, where required.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergency / cyclical repair requests in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve complex system faults.
• Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards, codes and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate service records and technical reports.
• Support modernization and upgrading projects for existing lift systems, where necessary.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties assigned by the manager / supervisor.
  
  

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related Building Services / Engineering field.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  
  

Specific Skills/Knowledge

• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Basic programming or diagnostic software skills.
• Ability to interpret circuit diagrams, schematics and technical manuals.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems will be an advantage.
  
  

Working Conditions

• May be required to perform on-call duties and respond to emergency breakdowns.
• Work involves both indoor and on-site building environments.
• Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces.
