Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in River Valley. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of the full accounting function, work closely with cross-functional teams, and contribute to process improvements within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full sets of accounts and ensure timely and accurate month-end closing.
- Prepare monthly management reports, sales reports, and audit/tax schedules.
- Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Supervise and guide the Accounts Executive, ensuring compliance with company policies and internal controls.
- Prepare and submit GST returns and support corporate tax matters in collaboration with external tax advisors.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and company secretaries during audits and statutory reporting.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to aid management decision-making.
- Drive process improvements and support accounting system enhancements through cross-functional collaboration.
- Perform other finance-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in General Ledger and full-set accounting.
- Experience in retail, consumer goods, or F&B industries is an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) will be highly advantageous.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
