Join our Finance - Business Office team and play a key role in ensuring accurate billing, seamless transactions, and excellent service delivery. As a Billing Officer, you will be responsible for supporting inpatient billing operations, managing vendor orders, and ensuring accurate and timely billing to patients and third-party payers. You will also work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and manage inpatient billing
• Ensure accurate and timely charging of goods and services to patient accounts
• Handle claims submission and follow-ups with third-party payers (e.g., insurers, CPF Board)
• Coordinate with wards to ensure accurate goods receipt and documentation
• Manage orders of non-stock rehab and nursing items and liaise with vendors
• Respond to patient and stakeholder enquiries with professional customer service
• Provide administrative support to the Finance department
• Participate in process improvement initiatives

Job Requirements

• Diploma holders; fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Higher NITEC / NITEC / GCE N / O / A Level holders with at least 2 years of relevant working experience
• Prior experience in billing functions within a Finance Department preferred
• Experience in the healthcare or public sector is an advantage
• Able to work independently and collaborate as a team player
• Customer-oriented with a professional service mindset
• Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills
