Job Description

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, compile and follow up on documents for authority submissions and approvals.
  • Assist with BP, Bomba, Borang B, TNB, SAMB, IWK, JKKP and other relevant submissions.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants and contractors on project documentation.
  • Prepare project correspondence, letters and supporting documents.
  • Coordinate architectural, tender, construction and approval drawings.
  • Maintain proper hardcopy and softcopy records, including drawing revision control.
  • Monitor submission status, permit validity and approval expiry dates.
  • Coordinate Borang G documentation and prepare documents for CCC inspections.
  • Liaise with the Sales Department on purchaser lists, CCC and Borang F documentation.
  • Coordinate consultant fees, submission fees, refunds, deposits and bonds with the Contract and Accounts Departments.
  • Maintain records relating to land searches, assessment tax, land tax and statutory permits.
  • Attend project or consultant coordination meetings when required.
  • Assist in monitoring project documentation and follow up on outstanding action items.
  • Perform other project administration duties assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project administration, property development, construction or consultancy.
  • Familiar with authority submissions, project documentation and approval processes.
  • Knowledge of BP, Bomba, Borang B, Borang G, CCC, TNB, SAMB, IWK and JKKP submissions will be an advantage.
  • Good document-control skills with the ability to maintain accurate project records and drawing revisions.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit or other design software will be an added advantage.
  • Able to communicate and coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, authorities and internal departments.
  • Well-organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
  • Willing to travel to project sites and government offices when required.
  • Possess own transport and a valid driving licence.
