About the Role
You will act as the focal point for all Materials, Welding and NDE (Non-Destructive Examination) activities related to the Subsea Production System (SPS) package.
Responsibilities
- Leading SPS Materials, Welding & NDE activities throughout project execution
- Reviewing and approving engineering, fabrication and testing documentation
- Managing welding qualifications, material selection and NDE requirements
- Supporting tendering, supplier evaluation and contractor management
- Coordinating QA/QC, risk assessments and technical audits
- Ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications
- Supporting fabrication, installation, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or Master's Degree
- 15+ years of offshore Oil & Gas experience
Required Skills
- Strong SPS/Subsea project background
- Extensive experience in:
- Welding Engineering
- Materials Engineering
- NDE
- Subsea Production Systems
- X Trees / Subsea Trees
- Experience with low alloy steels, weld overlay, buttered connections and super duplex materials preferred
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills within multinational project environments
Assignment Details
- Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia (Residential Role)
- Start: October 2026 (subject to FID
- Duration: Minimum 1 year renewable, potentially up to 5 years
- International travel required
