Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage DF (Destination Freight) allocations to ensure accurate utilization and timely updates.
- Prepare and submit DF reports to the Trade department within the required timelines.
- Coordinate with the Sales team for the timely filing and processing of RRR (Rate Request/Revision Requests).
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and provide accurate shipment information, including vessel schedules and transit updates.
- Coordinate closely with the Sales and Booking teams to secure bookings and ensure smooth shipment planning.
- Follow up on all confirmed shipments prior to vessel arrival to ensure operational readiness and timely customer updates.
- Coordinate with the Documentation team to ensure timely release of shipping documents and smooth delivery of services.
- Manage and coordinate Cross Trade shipments, ensuring effective communication between origin, destination, and customers.
- Monitor shipment progress and proactively communicate any delays or operational changes to customers.
- Handle and escalate delivery-related issues at the Port of Discharge (POD), including container damage, delivery delays, or operational exceptions, to the appropriate internal departments.
- Coordinate with overseas destination agents to resolve post-shipment issues and ensure timely responses to customer requests.
- Maintain accurate shipment records, customer communications, and operational documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer service quality and operational efficiency.
- Perform other customer service and operational duties as assigned by management.
Experience required (years)
2 – 4 years of experience in Shipping Liner/Nvocc.
Qualification
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Management, Customer Service, or a related field is preferred.
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
