Our client operates more than 1GW of hyperscale capacity across APAC.

You'll be the senior technical lead when things go wrong — running root cause analysis on equipment failures, closing the loop with design, construction and ops teams so the same issue doesn't recur. Day to day, that means:

• Leading investigations into critical incidents, coordinating internal teams and external vendors to get systems back online fast
• Digging into performance and trend data across mechanical/electrical systems to catch problems before they escalate
• Benchmarking site performance against design intent and flagging deviations
• Auditing maintenance programs and staffing/training gaps as part of RCA work
• Turning lessons learned into concrete design and process improvements, and tracking whether those improvements actually move the needle
• Supporting due diligence on new markets as we expand

What you bring

• A degree in electrical, mechanical or controls engineering (or equivalent hands-on experience)
• Solid grounding in ITIL and how it applies to building services in a data centre environment
• A track record leading root cause analysis on complex M&E systems
• Comfortable running point on a P1/P2 incident outside of core business hours — this is a 24x7 environment
• Project management chops, including managing distributed teams through change
• Strong communicator who can translate deep technical detail for non-technical stakeholders
• Willingness to travel ~20% across APAC
