Role Summary

We are seeking a qualified, compassionate, and responsible Medical Nurse to join our wellness & aesthetic clinic. This role involves assisting doctors in preventive medical, wellness, and aesthetic procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care and maintaining a safe, sterile, and professional clinical environment.

The ideal candidate should have a strong nursing background, hands-on clinical experience, good patient-care skills, and an interest in aesthetic and wellness treatments. The candidate must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment while maintaining professionalism and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Treatment & Procedure Assistance.
• Provide professional nursing care and support to patients undergoing medical, wellness, and aesthetic procedures.
• Assist doctors during consultations, treatments, procedures, and follow-up care.
• Perform nursing procedures such as IV drips/infusions, blood drawing, blood pressure monitoring, injections, and other procedures within the nurse's scope of practice and clinic protocols.
• Prepare treatment rooms, medical equipment, instruments, and supplies before procedures.
• Ensure proper handling, cleaning, disinfection, and storage of medical equipment.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, sterilization, and infection control.
• Complete and maintain accurate patient charts, treatment records, and clinical documentation.
• Patient Care & Clinical Support
• Monitor patients before, during, and after treatments and promptly report any abnormal signs, symptoms, or reactions to the doctor.
• Observe and communicate patients' conditions and symptoms to the doctor.
• Provide patients with appropriate information regarding procedures, treatment preparation, and post-treatment care.
• Support patients throughout their wellness and treatment journey with professionalism and compassion.
• Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and provide emergency nursing support when required.
• Work closely with doctors, nurses, and the sales/clinic team to ensure smooth patient flow and service delivery.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with clinic policies, professional standards, and applicable healthcare regulations.
• Stay updated on relevant nursing practices, aesthetic procedures, wellness treatments, and clinical techniques.
• Participate in training and continuously develop clinical knowledge and skills.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Nursing with a valid APC (Annual Practicing Certificate).
• Valid LCP (Letter of Credentialing and Privileging) or relevant credentialing/privileging applicable to the role and procedures performed.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience in a medical, wellness, aesthetic, dermatology, or similar clinical setting.
• Hands-on experience with IV drips/infusions, blood drawing, injections, and other routine nursing procedures.
• Experience in aesthetic treatments such as injectables, PRP, laser treatments, or similar procedures is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of nursing care, clinical procedures, patient safety, infection control, and emergency care.
• Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, decontamination, and safe handling of medical equipment.
• Mandarin proficiency is preferred to facilitate communication with patients and the team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Compassionate, patient, responsible, and professional when dealing with patients.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized, adaptable, and able to multitask efficiently.
• Able to work effectively in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Willing to learn and develop new clinical techniques and treatment knowledge.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
