about the role

• Design, build, and deploy high-impact statistical and machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
• Manage end-to-end data science projects, from exploratory analysis and feature engineering to deployment and performance monitoring.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code for production environments using standard software engineering practices.
• Translate technical insights and recommendations into clear strategy for business leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Mentor junior data team members, fostering technical growth and sharing analytical best practices.

skills and experience

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 1-2 years of strong track record of developing and deploying machine learning solutions in business settings (customer forecasting and prediction of habits etc)
• Advanced proficiency in Python, machine learning libraries, and cloud platforms (GCP or equivalent).
• Demonstrated ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Proven experience in technical leadership or mentoring junior team members.
