Responsibility

1.Server & Virtualisation Support

• Manage and support server and virtualisation environments.
• Perform basic server administration, maintenance, reboots, and troubleshooting.
• Support VMware environments, including virtual machines and user access/permissions.
• Monitor server performance and troubleshoot connectivity or performance issues.

2. Storage & Backup Support

• Monitor and troubleshoot storage systems, storage arrays, controllers, and related infrastructure.
• Perform routine health checks, diagnostics, configuration backups, and firmware/patching activities.
• Support storage provisioning, including volumes, LUNs, and shares.
• Support backup and restoration activities and resolve backup-related issues.

3. Incident, Security & Vendor Coordination

• Perform technical troubleshooting and resolve server and storage incidents.
• Conduct initial triage of server alerts and escalate unresolved issues to relevant teams or vendors.
• Coordinate with OEM/distributor/vendor support for hardware and software issues.
• Assist with OS hardening, patch management, and monitoring of unauthorized access attempts.
• Maintain technical documentation, incident records, and periodic server/storage health reports.

4. Active Directory & GPO Support

• Perform user and group administration, permissions management, and general Active Directory housekeeping.
• Support changes to directory structures, sites, and replication.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Group Policy Objects (GPO).
• Troubleshoot GPO-related issues and maintain documentation and backup/version control.

Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Network Engineering, System Administration, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in server, storage, virtualisation, or infrastructure support.
• Knowledge of Windows Server, VMware, storage systems, backup, and Active Directory.
• Experience in server troubleshooting, VM support, storage monitoring, backup/restoration, and incident resolution.
• Basic knowledge of OS hardening, patch management, and GPO.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently and provide technical support.
• Good communication and coordination skills when working with users, internal teams, and vendors.
