Job Description:

We are looking for a highly organised and execution-oriented Strategy & Transformation Manager to support a complex business transformation programme. The programme involves collaboration between entities and covers business activities changes, operating model changes, systems and data dependencies, operational processes, controls and stakeholder coordination.

This is a hands-on delivery role. The successful candidate will bring structure and clarity to a programme involving multiple interconnected workstreams and stakeholders, ensuring that decisions, dependencies, risks and actions are clearly understood and driven to completion.

The role is particularly suited to someone who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, able to quickly connect the dots across different workstreams, and disciplined in maintaining a clear and reliable view of the overall programme.

The responsibility of this role includes:

  • Drive and maintain the end-to-end programme plan, translating strategic objectives into clear workstreams, milestones, dependencies and deliverables.
  • Coordinate the business, operational, technology, finance, risk and control requirements alignment.
  • Establish and maintain a single, reliable view of programme status, including milestones, actions, dependencies, decisions, risks and issues.
  • Connect activities across different workstreams and proactively identify cross-functional dependencies and downstream impacts before they become delivery issues.
  • Drive stakeholder discussions towards clear decisions, ownership and next steps, particularly where requirements, responsibilities or timelines are unclear.
  • Challenge inconsistent assumptions and ensure stakeholders are working towards a common target operating model and implementation approach.
  • Track outstanding actions rigorously and follow through with owners to ensure timely closure.
  • Prepare concise and structured materials for senior management, steering committees and working groups, clearly highlighting progress, key risks, dependencies and decisions required.
  • Support planning, readiness assessments, implementation, cutover and post-implementation stabilisation.
  • Establish appropriate programme governance and documentation to ensure key decisions, assumptions and rationale are properly captured.
  • Act as a central coordination point across the programme, ensuring that information remains organised, consistent and accessible to relevant stakeholders.

Qualification requirement:

  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, securities, consulting, programme management, transformation, or related fields.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience leading complex projects or transformation initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, interdependent workstreams, and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in business migration, operating model transformation, or cross-entity programmes would be highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage programme plans, timelines, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and stakeholder actions to achieve successful delivery outcomes.
  • Strong programme governance, stakeholder management, and delivery management skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to synthesise complex information, identify critical dependencies, and translate them into clear and actionable plans.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distil complex topics into concise management-level updates and recommendations.
  • Confident engaging senior stakeholders and influencing outcomes across teams without direct reporting authority.
  • Candidates with strong PMO or programme management backgrounds who have progressed beyond project coordination into end-to-end delivery ownership will be highly regarded.

This is a 12-month contract role with potential for renewal based on performance and business needs.
