Responsibilities
About the role
This role involves planning, shooting, and editing short-form video content using CapCut for social media channels including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. You will develop creative content ideas based on current social media trends and translate them into engaging content. You will design social media graphics and marketing collateral using Canva and Adobe Creative Cloud, primarily Photoshop and Illustrator, while supporting content planning and production across social media, website and other marketing channels.
Key responsibilities
Plan, shoot and edit short-form video content using
CapCut
for social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.)
Design graphics and marketing collateral using
Canva
and
Adobe Creative Cloud
(primarily
Photoshop
and
Illustrator
)
Manage multiple content pieces and projects from concept through to completion
Stay up to date with social media and content trends, and translate them into fresh and engaging content for our channels
Support content planning and production for social media, website and other marketing touchpoints
Assist the Marketing Manager with marketing campaigns, activities and day-to-day marketing tasks
Assist with other ad-hoc marketing and content production tasks as needed
What we are looking for
Hands-on experience in short-form
video editing
, particularly using
CapCut
for cutting, captions, transitions and trend-style edits
Experience with shooting and producing video content for social media
Proficient in
Canva
, with the ability to produce visually appealing designs efficiently for quick turnaround work
Practical experience with
Adobe Creative Cloud
, particularly
Photoshop
and
Illustrator
Genuine interest in social media and content trends, with an understanding of what makes content engaging online
Open-minded team player who is receptive to feedback and direction, while also bringing fresh ideas to the table
Creative, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple content pieces concurrently
Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
