Responsibilities

This role resides under MISC Marine (the Integrated Marine Services arm of MISC Group) and a 2-Years Contract role


Key Accountabilities


1. Change Management Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the project change management strategy, framework, and implementation roadmap.
  • Establish change management plans aligned with project objectives, milestones, and deployment schedules.
  • Identify organizational readiness requirements and define actions to support successful transformation.
  • Ensure change management deliverables are integrated into the overall project plan.

2. Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

  • Identify and assess impacted stakeholder groups across the organization.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies to build awareness, alignment, and support for the change initiative.
  • Establish and manage a network of business champions and change agents to support change adoption.
  • Facilitate workshops, engagement sessions, and leadership briefings to drive organizational commitment.

3. Change Impact Assessment

  • Lead assessments to evaluate the impacts of process, system, role, organizational, and policy changes.
  • Work with business and project teams to identify potential resistance, risks, and adoption barriers.
  • Develop mitigation plans to address business disruption and stakeholder concerns.
  • Monitor and manage change-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.

4. Communication Management

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans to support project objectives.
  • Prepare key project messages, announcements, presentations, newsletters, and awareness materials.
  • Ensure timely, consistent, and transparent communication across all stakeholder groups.
  • Measure communication effectiveness and adjust strategies where necessary.

5. Training & Capability Development

  • Develop training strategies, training plans, and learning roadmaps for impacted users.
  • Coordinate training development, scheduling, logistics, and delivery activities.
  • Ensure users possess the knowledge and capabilities required to operate effectively in the new environment.
  • Monitor training completion, effectiveness, and competency levels.

6. Business Readiness & User Adoption

  • Define and monitor business readiness criteria prior to deployment and go-live.
  • Assess organizational preparedness for transition to new systems and business processes.
  • Monitor adoption indicators and user engagement metrics post-implementation.
  • Develop and execute adoption improvement initiatives where gaps are identified.

7. Post Go-Live Change Support

  • Lead change stabilization and user adoption activities during hypercare and post go-live phases.
  • Gather user feedback and identify issues impacting adoption and business performance.
  • Work with project teams, support teams, and business leaders to resolve resistance and transition challenges.
  • Support benefits realization tracking and sustainment initiatives following implementation.

8. Governance & Reporting

  • Establish change management governance structures, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates on change readiness, stakeholder engagement, training progress, and adoption performance.
  • Present change management progress and recommendations to project governance forums and steering committees.
  • Ensure change management documentation and project records are maintained in accordance with governance requirements.

9. People Development

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and adaptability across the organization.
  • Coach change champions, business stakeholders, and leaders on effective change leadership practices.
  • Support capability development in organizational change management and transformation disciplines.

10. Vision & Mission

  • Support and contribute to the successful realization of MISC Marine's digital transformation strategy, operational excellence objectives, and long-term organizational sustainability.


EXPERIENCE


  • Minimum 8 years' experience in organizational change management, business transformation, project management, or related disciplines.
  • Proven experience leading change management workstreams for large-scale ERP, digital transformation, or enterprise-wide system implementation projects.
  • Experience developing and executing communication, training, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness programs.
  • Strong experience managing cross-functional stakeholders across multiple business units.
  • Experience in maritime, logistics, energy, or other asset-intensive industries is an added advantage.


QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, Psychology, Organizational Development, Management, Information Systems, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification in Change Management (Prosci, APMG Change Management, CCMP, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
