Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Project Engineer role based in Central (WP Kuala Lumpur) / Northern Area (Penang) . The Project Engineer will oversee engineering projects from planning through execution, ensuring technical soundness, compliance with specifications, and adherence to safety standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders, preparing project schedules, monitoring progress, and resolving technical issues on-site. The role also involves reviewing drawings and documentation, supporting installation and testing activities, and preparing reports and updates for management. The Project Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help optimize processes, costs, and project outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Project Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills or relevant, with the ability to apply technical knowledge to on-site project activities.
  • Candidates should possess Project Management and Project Planning skills, including experience in scheduling, resource coordination, and tracking milestones.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, contractors, and clients.
  • Candidates should ideally have experience with engineering standards, safety regulations, and quality control practices.
  • A relevant engineering degree (e.g., Electrical, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in common engineering and project tools (e.g., CAD software, MS Office, project scheduling software) is beneficial.
  • Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing project requirements.
