Job Summary

Full-Time Barista at specialty café in Singapore preparing espresso-based drinks and providing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare espresso-based drinks, coffee, and other café beverages to meet quality standards
• Dial in and adjust espresso machines to maintain consistent espresso quality throughout the day
• Deliver friendly and attentive customer service to enhance guest experience
• Take customer orders accurately and operate the POS/cashier system efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar and front-of-house areas to ensure a welcoming environment
• Assist with opening and closing duties to support smooth café operations
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies promptly to avoid shortages during service
• Support general café operations as needed to contribute to team success

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Basic barista experience preferred to perform core beverage preparation tasks
• Entry-level baristas with good fundamentals are welcome to apply, demonstrating willingness to learn
• Availability to work weekends and public holidays when rostered
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and eagerness to learn in a café environment
• Communicate clearly and provide excellent customer service in a small team setting
• Comfortable collaborating and working effectively within a small café team
