Job Description

Responsibilities

Company Overview:

Synfindo is a Singapore-based technology and advisory company with a mission to accelerate collaboration between Financial Institutions (“FIs”), including Regulators, Central Banks, and Global and Regional Banks, and innovators such as Fintechs, technology vendors, and startups. Synfindo operates the APIX Platform (“APIX”), which connects over 100 FIs with 2,500+ Fintechs and technology vendors across 100+ countries.

Product Overview:

APIX helps organizations run structured innovation challenges through the APIX Hackathon Management Suite, test new solutions in the APIX Digital Sandbox, and discover technology partners on the APIX Fintech Marketplace, all without needing to build this infrastructure themselves. APIX also offers a fully managed, independently hosted, White-labelled version of the APIX platform for FIs that want their own dedicated innovation platforms.

APIX was originally launched in 2018 by the Monetary Authority of Singapore and the IFC (World Bank Group), and is now owned and operated by Synfindo, backed by LemmaTree (founded by Temasek) and Mastercard.

Job Title: Business Development (“BD”) Enablement Manager

Reports to: Head of Business Development

Location: Singapore, based on-site

Role Summary:

APIX is hiring a BD Enablement Manager to own the proposal, pitch and buyer onboarding process for the Commercial team, working directly with the Head of BD. This is a global role covering Commercial Banks, Insurers, Government sector, Central Banks and other related Enterprise tenders worldwide. It is a senior support role for someone who wants to build deeper understanding in innovation in financial services, the complexity of working on diverse client sales proposals, tender responses and build global FI client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Proposal & Pitch Development

  • Develop and deliver customized proposals, pitch decks, and strategy decks for FIs globally, including for C-suite level audiences

  • Lead research to ensure factual accuracy of proposal and pitch content, verifying data, claims, and case references before submission
  • Own the visual quality of client-facing materials, from deck layout to document formatting

Stakeholder Coordination & Deal Management

  • Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Customer Support teams on both content inputs and meetings needed to complete a submission
  • Independently manage smaller inbound opportunities, such as hackathon programs, from first response through to close

Knowledge & Sales Operations

  • Build and maintain a library of reusable decks, templates, and reference content
  • Maintain CRM discipline, keeping opportunity records, pipeline stages, and follow-ups up to date

Team Leadership

  • Hire, train, and manage 1-2 associates/interns supporting this work, ensuring strong CRM discipline and research quality on the work they produce

Requirements:

Experience & Skills

  • 5+ years in sales enablement, bid management, proposal writing, or business development support, ideally in financial services or enterprise B2B
  • Strong written English and clear business communication
  • Strong deck-building, document writing and document formatting skills
  • Able to independently navigate complex tender portals and submission requirements
  • Flexibility to work across multiple global time-zones to attend and present on client calls (as needed)

Work Style & Traits

  • Reliable, with a fast turnaround on requests
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with taking direction and revising work through several rounds on larger, higher-stakes opportunities

Logistics

  • Able to work at least four days on-site at Synfindo's office and one day work from home

Nice to Have:

  • Exposure to enterprise sales cycles
  • Experience with government or public-sector tenders
